Stages of Treatment

We offer a complete and thorough diagnostic and treatment service that ensures each patient is fully supported at all levels. To ensure the best possible treatment, we always support our patients through four stages:

Stage 1: Diagnosis

We go to great lengths to ensure we have a full understanding as to the patients need, symptoms and any other conditions. Our diagnosis includes:

  • We take a detailed medical history.

  • Postural assessment to determine range of movement and gait patterns.

  • Determine pain triggers and palpation of soft tissue and joint restrictions

  • Perform orthopaedic and neurological tests if required

  • Read through medical reports/ x-rays/MRI scans

Stage 2: Ensure understanding

We discuss with you what we will do during the treatment, we'll then talk you through the techniques used throughout the treatment and enable you to be involved in understanding your own body and the factors contributing to the pain/restriction you are feeling.

Stage 3: Range of treatments

Our treatment for each patient is individual as no one person is the same.

We are experienced in treating a wide range of orthopaedic conditions, from acute back pain, neck pain, sciatica and spinal/disc problems, to plantarfascitis, knee pain, arthritis and rotator cuff injuries. We also support and help to manage and control chronic pain in conditions such as Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia.

Stage 4: Post treatment support

After explaining what we have discovered during the treatment we offer a range of post treatment exercises and personalised plan that ensures the patient maintains their well being between treatments. This allows the patient to be fully involved in their own recovery and well being.
