Kirsty

Kirsty Baldock is a highly experienced therapist with over 18 years in successful practice. Kirsty began her training in Remedial Massage in 1996 at the age of 16. She was accepted into the Northern Institute at that age due to getting sponsorship and an apprenticeship with an experienced Osteopath and was able to work alongside him whilst undertaking her 3 and a half years training and was honoured with Student of the Year award in 1997.

Kirsty completed her higher grade diploma in Manipulative Therapy in 1999. In 2001 she trained with The Upledger Institute in Cranial Sacral Therapy and incorporates this therapy in treating conditions such as Chronic Fatigue and headaches/migraines and TMJ.

Since then she has built up her practice with the desire to continue her own path of learning and development in order to provide the best possible treatment for each individual client. Kirsty is highly respected in her field, highly motivated and highly sought after.

Kirsty was lucky enough to be one of the first therapists in the UK to study with Dr Thomas Hendrickson and qualified as a Hendrickson Method Practitioner in 2010.  The Hendrickson Method is a unique and highly effective method of manual therapy and mobilisation which can successfully treat both chronic and acute musculo-skeletal conditions throughout the whole body in a pain free and relaxing way.

Kirsty is not only passionate about investing in her own development through regular attendance at workshops, but is also enthused to pass on the work to others starting out in the manual therapy field. She has earned the qualifications, allowing her to teach adults and offers private tuition and small workshops in Manual Therapy, Muscle Energy, Assessment techniques and Anatomy Workshops.
